I finished The Guernsey Literary and Potato Peel Pie Society and I thoroughly enjoyed it. It is about an island in England during WWII. The entire book is made up of letters written to and from people on the island after the war is over but written about what happened to the people on the island during the war. It has the same feeling as a Jane Austen book, which I love. So... if you like Jane Austen and historical fiction... here ya go!

hi!I loved that book.It was soooo much fun listening to it.See you soon.
This sounds like a book I could like. I'll have to check it out. I am impressed by the books you have listed that you have read. I had started that on my blog, but got way behind on posting new ones. I like to get books on tape or CD (don't have an IPOD) and listen to them when I am in the kitchen or the car. The kids are really getting into it to. I got Inkheart last time from the libarary and they have listened to it more than I have. I'll have to check out some of your other books too. Are you in a book club? We just read The Road by Cormac McCarthy (it was Becca- my sister's pick) and it was not a book I would reread or even recommend. But she loved it. Always interesting to see what different people like.
Jennifer,
I'm not in a book club other than audible.com where I download my audio books. I just keep my ears open to what other people like and then see if audible.com has them. If you have any suggestions, I'm all ears!
