- My husband and I live in north central Arizona but grew up in Phoenix. We've lived here in Prescott since 1981 and raised our family here. I've been sewing since I was 10 years old and made all my own cloths but one day I realized that I didn't need any more clothes but still enjoyed sewing so I decided to start quilting. Since that day, I buy my clothes and I buy quilt fabric and like it that way.

What is the "Presidents Quilt"?
It is the quilt we give to the president at the end of her term in my guild. Usually we let her decide the theme. I think she'll like this one.
Wow! Not just a great qift, this quilt will be a beautiful northern AZ tribute piece too.
How did you create that: EQ? colored pencils? Do you teach design classes anywhere?

I drew up the quilt on EQ6. The girl came from a painting by R. C. Gorman. I believe we will applique the girl onto the quilt top. No, I don't teach a design class, but I have taught EQ classes.. great fun!
